A program of work is the coordination of any work, project, service, utility, undertaking or function to be undertaken over a set period of time. These programs are likely to involve delivery of significant infrastructure in multiple locations requiring strategic whole-of-government coordination.
A program of works is intended to support the economic development of the Territory. It ensures the Territory Coordinator can support development activities for community infrastructure projects, such as bore water infrastructure upgrades across different communities, or social and affordable housing development in different locations.
The Minister for Territory Coordinator must publish a notice of approval and statement of reasons for approving a program of works that can be found on publications.
Each public body and public entity identified in the program of works is given copy of the works activities required and this is also available on publications.
